Exception reporting is one of the major benefits that a company derives from a good BI solution. Exception reporting helps managers spot minor anomalies before they become major problems after which analyses of the root cause can be undertaken followed by corrective action.

Exception reporting can also be used to spot hidden trends which are not otherwise obvious. Companies can reap huge benefits by ensuring that notional losses through missed opportunities are either negated or reduced.

CUBOT is equipped with powerful exception reporting through both its Alerts and scatter plot features. Combined with Analyzer and graphical Dashboards, these enable managers spot exceptions, analyze causes and take corrective action.

Define. Define alerts from any saved report across any set of dimensions and multiple values if required.
Email Notification. Notifications can be emailed to users or highlighted in saved reports or on the dashboard.
Activate. Enable alerts as soon as they are defined. Each alert is recomputed after a refresh of the dataset.
Manage. Control all alerts from the Alerts page: view triggered alerts, saved alerts and edit or delete alerts.
Analyze. Click on any triggered alert in a report for root cause analysis in the Analyze module.

No need to login. Cubot alerts are readily emailed to users; there is no need to login to CUBOT to view alerts.
