Security is an integral part of CUBOT 's architecture. CUBOT Security is designed to block unauthorized access to CUBOT and grant authorized persons access to only those areas for which they have access privileges.

Access to CUBOT is through a user id/password mechanism from an internal CUBOT security gate. All information is then displayed through CUBOT's OLAP and other modules which retrieve data based on role(s) granted to a user id.
Features
  • Http or https-based login. CUBOT provides standard login through http, but can be deployed with https-based secure login where required.
  • Password validation.  The CUBOT password validation mechanism features all industry best practices like: expiry, complexity check, forced change, account lock and auto-logout.
  • Shield. CUBOT Security is set up to shield the main modules from all non-authentic CUBOT requests.
  • Filter.  The OLAP module which retrieves information checks each request against user id and role and filters out information not granted to that role.

Benefits
  • Information distributed on need-to-know basis at a granular level. The definition of organizational structure and access matrix by Business Analysts makes the system more secure with more accurate and granular definitions.
  • Port independent. CUBOT can be deployed on any port and all other ports can be block by a firewall.
  • Secure authentication. Https based login available to increase authentication security. CUBOT does not use cookies.
  • Blocking unauthenticated requests. Minimizes the effect of hack attacks through the blocking of unauthenticated requests by CUBOT Security.
